UPDATE ON THE MASBATE EXPLORATION PROJECT AS OF OCTOBER, 2009
Following the signing of the Exploration and Option Agreement (EOA) last June 24, 2008 between Geograce Resources Philippines, Incorporated (GEO) and Vale Exploration Philippines, Incorporated (VEPI), field exploration and related activities started in Masbate Island from November, 2008 and are at present continuing although to a limited extent as a consequence of the global economic slowdown.

Geograce signs deal to mine nickel in Isabela
LISTED GEOGRACE Resources Philippines, Inc. signed on Tuesday a deal with Tanco-led Geogen Corp. to extract nickel from a mine site in northern Luzon, the company told the stock exchange yesterday.
Under the deal, Geograce will exclusively develop and operate two adjacent mining areas — 45 and 60 hectares — in the municipality of Dinapigue in Isabela province until March next year, subject to renewal by both parties.

As the worsening global financial meltdown continues to hit economies all over the world, the Philippines being no exception, a number of our Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) have been laid off and are coming home jobless.

Geograce signs exploration deal with world's second largest mining company
Locally listed mining exploration company Geograce Resources Philippines, Inc. recently inked an agreement with Vale, the world's second largest mining company for joint mining explorations in
Masbate for gold and copper. Vale committed US $6Million as initial investment.
